Postula’s Team Up at Deadline

On January 3rd, 2019 Centreman Brett Postula made his Flyers’ debut after being acquired from the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Knights of the NAHL. It didn’t take long for Brett to record his first tally with the team as he found the back of the just 6 minutes into his Flyers debut.

One week later his twin brother Brad joined the Flyers blue-line prior to the January 10th trade deadline, coming over from the Rochester Grizzlies of the NA3HL. The Portage, MI natives were teammates last year with Meijer AAA of the U18 NAPHL. Brett managed 17 Goals & 17 Assists for 34 Points in 55 Games with Meijer while Brad finished with 4 Goals & 13 Assists for 17 Points in 52 Games.

Before coming to the Flyers Brett scored 3 Goals in 18 Games with Wilkes-Barre Scranton while Brad put up 6 Assists in 30 Games with Rochester. Both brothers have contributed immediately in a Flyers uniform with Brett adding 1 Goal & 5 Assists in his first 6 Games while Brett scored his junior goal in his 3rd game with the Flyers.

The Flyers currently sit in 2nd place in Western Conference standings, 5 points back of the London Nationals with 4 games in hand. The next home game will be Thurday, January 31st vs the Komoka Kings. Come out and support the Flyers as they enter the last month of the regular season.
