Strathroy’s Liam Israels Awarded Schulich Leader Scholarship

The Strathroy Rockets are very proud to recognize Liam Israels as he was just awarded a Schulich Leader Scholarship, given to just 50 of the countries highest achieving high school students. This year, Liam will begin his undergraduate studies at Western Engineering with a $100,000 scholarship in tow.

Drafted in 2017 by the Peterborough Petes in the OHL U18 Priority Selection, Liam played for the last 2 season with the Strathroy Rockets while maintaining excellent grades at Medway High School in Arva.

Our entire Rockets organization wish Liam all the best moving forward with his studies. It is a pleasure to have you as part of our family.
