GOJHL Mourns the Loss of Ken Hill

The GOJHL is saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Caledonia Pro-Fit Corvairs Owner Ken Hill. The league wishes to send their condolences to the entire Hill Family as well as the Corvairs Organization. Ken has been an instrumental member of our league and will be dearly missed.

Ken was an owner of the Brantford Golden Eagles and became owner of the Caledonia Corvairs when the two teams merged in March 2012. Under his ownership the Corvairs won 3 Sutherland Cups , 5 Golden Horseshoe Conference Championships and graduated numerous players onto higher levels of hockey.

Beyond all the accolades he was described as a friend to players, staff, volunteers and fans. He treated others with respect and placed great emphasis on being a proactive member of the community.

In addition to his commitment to the Corvairs and the GOJHL he also supported the 6 Nations Chiefs men’s lacrosse team – 6 time Mann Cup National Champions – and the Hill United Chiefs men’s fastball team – 4 time ISC World Champions. A true competitor, Ken always strived to win.

On behalf of the GOJHL thank you for your dedication to our league, players, fans, volunteers and community. Rest in peace Ken.
