Playing Career
Growing up in Oshawa, Rob began playing hockey at the age of 5. At 14, he went to North Bay, and that was the beginning of his worldwide experience with the game of hockey. Drafted by the London knights in 1984, and following some time with the Guelph Platers, Rob joined the St. Thomas Stars in 1986. He was part of the Stars successful Sutherland cup victory that same year. From Ontario, he continued his career, playing professionally in England from 1995 until ‘retiring’ in 2004.

Coaching Career
Having coached at hockey schools, power skating schools and skills development camps, Rob began coaching both junior and senior teams in the UK. After returning to Canada with his family in 2006, Rob relocated to London, ON, in 2010 and resumed coaching. He coached six seasons of minor hockey with the London Junior Knights and Elgin Middlesex Chiefs, working with Major Midget AA, Bantam AAA, and most recently, Minor Midget AAA teams. Rob has over 20 years of coaching experience.
