Falcons win big over Centennials in battle of top Eastern Conference teams

Ally Mostafaie scored two goals for the Falcons (18-5-0-0) who took control of the game with a four-goal second period enroute to their eighth straight win and a share of first place in the Eastern Conference. The Centennials (18-5-0-0) had won their first 10 at home this season before Thursday’s loss.
Pelham Panthers 2
Hamilton Kilty B’s 4
Ryan Woodburn scored the winner with 47 seconds left as the Kilty B’s snapped a 7-game home losing streak. The Panthers (6-14-4-0) now sit 9th in the Eastern Conference, two points behind Brantford.
St. Marys Lincolns 5
Sarnia Legionnaires 2
Owen Voortman and Chase MacQueen-Spence each scored two goals as the Lincolns (17-5-0-0) bounced back from two straight losses and moved back into a tie with LaSalle for first place in the Western Conference. Chase McDougall (7th round, Niagara IceDogs, 2024) added an empty-netter for his first career GOJHL goal. The Legionnaires (7-12-2-1) were outshot 41-22 and are now winless in four (0-3-0-1).

Tyler Crisostomo scored his league-leading third and fourth shorthanded goals and Patrick Babin added another SHG as the Titans (8-14-2-0) claimed sole possession of 8th place in the Eastern Conference. Brantford has scored a league-leading 8 shorthanded goals this season. The Bombers (1-22-0-0) have lost 22 straight.
