Western teams win 5 of 7 inter-conference games

London Nationals 5 at Port Colborne Sailors 6

Jalen Lobo, an AP call-up, scored twice and Stephen Amaro made 44 saves for the Sailors (9-5-0-1), who notched their second straight win, while the Nationals (9-3-2-1) surrendered a season-high 6 goals, ending their 7-game win streak.


Strathroy Rockets 1 at St. Catharines Falcons 2 (OT)

Nathan Duplessis extended his goal-streak to 4 games with his 10th goal of the season on the power play at 1:55 of overtime [video] to give the Falcons (11-5-0-0) their 4th straight home win.  Braedon Clark scored the lone goal for the Rockets (9-4-1-1) who had their 3-game win streak snapped.


Cambridge Redhawks 2 at Listowel Cyclones 3 (OT)

Wylie Birkett‘s third game-winning goal of the season with 18 seconds left in OT lifted the Cyclones (10-3-1-0) to their 4th straight win, improving their home record to 7-0-1-0.  Brandon Balcar made 49 saves in the loss for the Redhawks (8-6-1-1), who had won 5 straight.


Caledonia Corvairs 1 at St. Marys Lincolns 4

Luca Spagnolo scored his 9th and 10th goals of the season (his 4th multi-goal game) for the first-place Lincolns (13-1-0-0), while Colby Booth-Housego made 27 saves to improve to 8-0-0.  Brody Leet had the lone goal for the Corvairs (10-5-1-0), who suffered their second straight road defeat.


Pelham Panthers 4 at St. Thomas Stars 6

Lincoln Moore snapped a 4-4 at 18:17 of the third period with his second goal of the game to lift the Stars (3-8-1-1) to the victory.  The Panthers (3-9-3-0) remain winless in 6 away games this season.


Brantford Titans 2 at Stratford Warriors 7

Aaron Green and Dax Vader each had a goal and two assists for the Warriors (11-4-0-0) in front of a crowd of 855 at William Allman Arena.  It was the 499th GOJHL win for the Stratford franchise since 2007.  Kaleb Frank had a goal and an assist for the Titans (4-11-1-0), who are now winless in four.


KW Siskins 5 at Caledon Bombers 1

Ben Oliver scored twice, Ty McCutchion had a season-high 3 points and GOJHL scoring leader Evan Klein added two assists for the Siskins (7-5-2-2), who have points in each of their last 3 road games.  Blake Richard made 33 saves in the win, as his shutout bid ended with 1:33 left in the third when Titus Mok scored for the Bombers (1-14-0-0), who are winless in their last 7 home games.
