May 17, 2023 – The Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League is releasing the following statement regarding the Leamington Flyers’ announcement they are moving to the Ontario Junior Hockey League:
“We appreciate the long-standing relationship with the Flyers, and we would like to wish them the best of luck as they begin their first OJHL season in the fall. The Flyers won their first-ever Sutherland Cup title this season.
The GOJHL will always put the best interests of our hockey players first, and playing in our geographical footprint is of paramount importance.”
