Flyers sign 2

LEAMINGTON, ONTARIO –

After a strong start to the season, the Leamington Flyers are adding two new names to its roster.
The Flyers have announced the signing of defenseman Kobe Seguin from Corbeil, Ontario, and forward Zach Frescura from Brownstown, Michigan.

Seguin was acquired from the Soo Thunderbirds of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League (NOJHL). In 2017, he was drafted in the 11th round by the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in the OHL Priority Selection. This past summer, Seguin was invited to the WJAC Team Canada East selection camp.
Frescura was acquired by the Kemptville 73’s of the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL). Before playing in the CCHL, Frescura played two years for the Belle Tire U18 team and captured the Michigan State Championship in 2017.2018.

Seguin and Frescura will join the Flyers, currently placed first in the GOJHL Western Conference standings, tonight against the second placed London Nationals at the Western Fair Recreation Complex. They return home to play St. Thomas on Thursday at Highbury Canco Arena. The Flyers remain undefeated at home.
