LEAMINGTON, ONTARIO – The Leamington Flyers are set to build on their Western Conference Finals appearance as they open the 2019-2020 schedule on September 7th, 2019.
Leamington will take part in the GOJHL Showcase event at the Meridian Community Centre, facing the St. Catharines Falcons on the 7th at 8:00pm and the Sutherland Cup Champion, Waterloo Siskins on Sunday, September 8th at 8:00pm.
The Flyers start the Western Conference portion of their schedule on Thursday, September 12th with the home opener at the Kinsmen Recreation Complex against the St. Thomas Stars at 7:10pm.
This season’s home schedule features 22 Thursday home games with puck drop at 7:10pm and two Sunday matinees that will start at 2:10pm.
The first rematch of the 2019 Western Conference Finals will take place on Wednesday, October 2nd when Leamington travels to London to face the Nationals.
The Flyers host London for the first time on October 24th at 7:10pm.
Leamington will also skate six times against their local rivals, the LaSalle Vipers, starting on September 18th, 2019 on the road, before hosting them on September 26th, 2019.
Flyers training camp runs from Friday, August 16th to Sunday, August 18th at the Kinsmen Recreation Complex.
