Collins Clothiers Players of the Month | December 2024

The Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League is pleased to announce the winners of the Collins Clothiers Players of the Month for December.

Player of the MonthLincoln Moore (St. Thomas Stars)
7 GP:  4 goals, 11 assists, 15 points

The forward had four multi-point games in December, including two 4-point performances.   In just 17 games, he leads the Stars with 17 goals, 31 points, 6 power play goals and 3 game winning goals.  The Sault Ste. Marie native was chosen first overall by Saginaw in the 2022 OHL U18 Draft and had 14 goals and 28 points in 106 games for the Spirit before joining the Stars at the start of November.


Rookie of the Month
Carter Chadwick (Chatham Maroons)
7 GP:  6 goals, 3 assists 9 points

Chadwick had points in each of his seven games played in December, helping the Maroons to a 5-1-1 record for the month.  He had a season-high 2 goals in Chatham’s 6-4 win over the Siskins on the 15th.  The Cobourg native scored four power play goals for the Maroons, giving him 6 for the season; tied for most on the team, and second most among GOJHL rookies.


Goaltender of the MonthNico Armellin (St. Marys Lincolns)
3 GP:  3-0-0, 1.67 GAA, .947 Sv%

The rookie netminder won all three starts in December, improving his record to 10-3-0 on the season.  The highlight was a 29-save effort in a big 3-2 win at London on the 6th.  He ended the month playing in the GOJHL Top Prospects event in Elmira on the 27th.  A 12th-round pick of the Barrie Colts in the 2023 OHL Priority Draft, the Vaughan native leads all GOJHL goalies in GAA (1.63) and save percentage (.942).
