The Brampton Bombers have been busy making preparations for the upcoming Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League’s Midwestern Conference season.
General manager Robin Inscoe is pleased to announce that Chris Taylor will be returning for a second season as the team’s head coach. Taylor took over the head coaching duties in January when GM/Coach Jeff Flanagan joined the OJHL’s Junior A Admirals. “Chris is a proven winner, as a player and coach,” said Inscoe of the Bombers head coach. “He’s won a Cherrey Cup as a player with the Cambridge Winterhawks and helped guide the Halton AAA Minor Midgets to an OMHA silver medal and OHL Cup quarter-final berth.” The Georgetown native has demonstrated the attributes that Inscoe feels will make him a successful coach in the GOJHL. “His knowledge of the game, attention to detail and work ethic are second to none,” added Inscoe. “And his ability to communicate with his players is outstanding.”
Taylor has been busy rounding out his coaching staff since the season ended. Joining Taylor on the bench this season will be:
Aaron Duggan Assistant Coach – Forward and Penalty Kill Coach
Trevor Hache Assistant Coach – Defence and Penalty Kill Coach
Adam Putnam Assistant Coach -Video and Player’s Coach
