Announcing the Collins Clothiers Player of the Month Awards for March/April

The GOJHL is excited to announce our Collins Clothiers Player of the Month awards for the month of March/April.

First up is the Collins Clothiers GOJHL Offensive Player of the Month from the Chatham Maroons, Lucas Fancy. The Charing Cross, ON native was all over the scoresheet for the Maroons with 9 goals and 13 assists. His 2.2 points per game average was the league-wide best. His 22 points in the month came in just 10 games played.

Nominees: Luke Bibby (Cambridge Redhawks),  Ethan Doyle (Caledonia Corvairs)

The Collins Clothiers GOJHL Defensive Player of the Month is Derek Pys of the Cambridge Redhawks. This is the second time this season that Pys has been recognized for his impressive play. While his Redhawks lead the league in goals-against for the month, he also added 3 goals and 12 assists for Cambridge.

Nominees: Colton O’Brien (Leamington Flyers) & Nate Tivey (Hamilton Kilty B’s)

Rounding out our awards to finish the regular season is the Collins Clothiers GOJHL Goaltender of the Month. The netminder being recognized this month is Braedyn McIntosh of the Hamilton Kilty B’s. The hometown boy posted a 7-0-0 record in the month and an incredible 0.84 GAA with .969 Save % including 3 shutouts. McIntosh made 185 saves in the month while only allowing 6 goals.

Nominees: Matthew Sbrocca (Lasalle Vipers) & Tanner Wickware (Cambridge Redhawks).
