The GOJHL is excited to announce our Collins Clothiers Player of the Month awards for the month of February.
Leading things off, The Offensive Player-of-the-Month is from the Hamilton Kilty B’s, Dylan Abbamont. The Burlington native had an incredible return to action with a 20-point performance in the month including 9 goals and 11 assists. There is little doubt that its performances like Dylan’s that has led the Kilty B’s to be the top team in the Golden Horseshoe.
Nominees: Michael McKnight (Cambridge Redhawks), Jeff Burridge (London Nationals)
The Defensive Player-of-the-Month goes to Jonah Boria. He helped the Falcons to a league-best for the fewest goals allowed, while also netting 3 goals and 5 assists in the team’s 9 games.
Nominees: Curtis Goodwin (Elmira Sugar Kings), Spencer Lecot (Lasalle Vipers)
Rounding out the award winners this month is the Goaltender-of-the-Month award which goes to London Nationals netminder Aiden Berry. The London native backstopped his hometown team to a 6-1-0 record with a dazzling 1.14 GAA & .966.
